Fernside-Apartamento

Positive: Pleasant surroundings ,nice apartment ,clean and well furnished Negative: Difficult to actually get into the property .when we rang the bell at the gate we were asked for a password which we hadn't been given despite the fact we had given our ETA. Small things were overlooked . Batteries in the TV remote needed replacing ,light bulb in the bedroom needed replacing and the microwave didn't work. The apartment had the same entrance as the family who run the place so didn't feel very private . I also thought we could use the grounds but apparently not.

A really enjoyable short stay in beautiful surroundings Positive: It is a beautiful property in lovely grounds and is very well looked after. Roy who manages it was really friendly and helpful. Negative: The quality of the furnishings (in the annexe at least) did not match the building

Perfect place to stay Positive: Location was great, beautiful scenery, peaceful and very secure Negative: Nothing

Apartment was quiet and we enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere and would recommend the whole place. Positive: Very quiet, excellent gardens and lake. Good location with several pubs locally and ideal for visiting nearby towns and villages. Negative: Only slight downside was the shower was in need of a decent clean.
